Pro-Ject Audio Systems was founded by one of Austria’s leading high-end audio distributors, Heinz Lichtenegger, in early 1991. A genuine music lover and a dyed-in-the-wool audiophile, Heinz challenged the common “cost-no-object” approach to analog audio equipment by manufacturing turntables, tonearms, and accessories at a reasonable price without compromising build quality or sonic performance.
Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO
The newest evolution in the Debut’s journey keeps the brand’s famous one-piece carbon fibre tonearm technology, electronic speed selection and X1 based suspension elements, and expands on its predecessor’s features, finishes and technical abilities thanks to newly developed engineering capabilities.
Turntable Available In The Following Finishes:
Pro-Ject X1
The X1 is based on the same concept as the P1, but improved in every aspect thanks to modern materials and new production methods.
Pro-Ject X2
The X2 is made for those who take great joy in the fine details, the build-quality, the high-grade materials and even more audio performance.
Pro-Ject Debut Carbon
The best-buy turntable classic with carbon tonearm and DC power supply!
The first Debut turntable, introduced in the late 1990s, was a revolution for the hi-fi industry. For the first time after the arrival of Compact Disc and the assumed demise of vinyl records, an analogue product re-emerged in the “mass market” – something all music lovers could afford.
The new Debut Carbon (DC) has been designed to set new standards in this category for the coming decade – perfectly timed as analogue today is again a respected source, while the demand for good turntables is growing again!
The most obvious improvement is the inclusion of a CARBON TUBE for the tonearm, which increases stiffness and decreases unwanted resonance. This material normally is extensively used in high-end tonearms, but – because of cost reasons – was never used in products at lower price levels. Together with other improvements like an increase in platter size and weight to realize even smoother rotation, the overall sound quality is greatly improved. The approved belt drive design offers low noise AC motor with effective motor decoupling (utilising TPE-damping) and ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator (like Speed Box) for ultimate speed stability without unwanted vibration.
The DEBUT CARBON will be offered in high-gloss black or shiny red, green, blue, yellow, silver or white as no-added-cost option.
Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB
The new DEBUT CARBON ESPRIT SB (DC) has been designed to set new standards in this category for the coming decade – perfectly timed as analogue today is again a respected source, while the demand for good turntables with all speeds is growing fast!

Ultimate convenience is achieved, because of electronic speed change ("Speed Box") and the possibility of playing 78rpm.
A simple exchange of stylus to 2M78 (not included) and a drive belt turnover to larger diameter of pulley is required, that´s all!
The DEBUT CARBON ESPRIT SB will be offered in high-gloss black or shiny red, or white.
Pro-Ject Debut RecordMaster
An audiophile turntable with convenience features; built in phono preamp, USB computer connection and 3 speed capability.
The first Debut turntable, introduced in the late 1990s, was a revolution for the hi-fi industry. For the first time after the arrival of Compact Disc and the assumed demise of vinyl records, an analogue product re-emerged in the “mass market” – something all music lovers could afford. The new Debut RecordMaster has been designed to set new standards in this category, utilizing decades of turntable design and manufacturing experience.
Audiophile performance without gimmicks, high performance without fussy setup and calibration. It comes with a 300mm steel platter belt drive design isdecoupled from the MDF plinth with a TPE (Thermo Plastic Elastomer) suspension. A high precision, DC-driven AC generator creates ultimate speed stability (no need for expense and noise of stroboscope speed adjustment). Push button electronic speed change (like the legendary "Speed Box“ control) to easily change between 33.3 and 45rpm, and the capability of playing 78rpm. A simple exchange of stylus to OM78 (not included) and a drive belt turnover to larger diameter of pulley is required, that's all!
Like all Pro-Ject designs, the Recordmaster eschews frills and silly "features", focusing on performance and preservation of your vinyl collection Dustcover, and factory mounted/aligned Ortofon cartridge included. Available in a real walnut veneer with a matte finish.
Pro-Ject Essential III
The new Essential III builds on the successes of the Essential II. The Essential II is a fabulous sounding turntable. It’s the least expensive turntable on the market that includes both a high precision main bearing and a solid, adjustable tonearm that’s based on the award winning Debut design. It’s become the starter turntable of choice for audiophiles the world over.
The new Essential III adds some nice upgrades compared to the Essential II. Cosmetically, the Essential III takes a cue from the award winning Debut Carbon DC, with a lustrous high-gloss finish that’s available in Black, Red, or White. The platter also gets an upgrade: it’s constructed of a dense MDF for minimal resonance and finished in a high-gloss piano black. The visual effect is striking, especially on the Red and White tables where the high-gloss platter contrasts nicely with the plinth. It looks really spectacular if you display it with some fun colored vinyl to accentuate the colors! The adjustable 8.6” one-piece aluminum tonearm is significantly more sophisticated than anything close to its price range, and utilizes sapphire bearings for minimal friction and many years of reliable performance. The Essential III also includes a factory mounted/aligned Ortofon OM10 cartridge. You won’t find a better performing, better matched cartridge/tonearm combination in this price range.
The main platter bearing is precision machined high grade stainless steel and the drive pulley is crafted from aluminum. A new DC motor speed controller board regulates the platter speed and the Essential III now includes Connect it E interconnect hardwired directly to the output.
The ESSENTIAL III will be offered in high-gloss black or shiny red, or white.
